There are some very powerful units at 150 points, and some powerful duos at 75 points each. 145 is our attempt to mitigate some of those options without forcing minimum models.
Assembling and painting is a big part of the hobby and should be rewarded. If you have the same models that you use on a VTT game assembled and painted then you can recieve the painted points.
Probably – but we’re trying our best. The most broken games will be early on so at least they’ll be mercifully quick.
This is the first year and if we determine that the points system is not working we reserve the right to change it.
No, you are not allowed to be a dick.
The new edition doesn’t lend itself to true escalation very well, so you only need to use the same Army List (i.e. Thorin’s Company, Harad) month-to-month.
No, you must decide your army roster to use for the month before your first game.
Painted Points are submitted by game and our system accepts your best game (determined by VP Diff), so if you play a game on the 1st of the month without a painted army and win 12-1, and then play a game on the 30th of the month with a painted army and lose 12-1, you will not receive the Painted Points.
